A Neighborhood Shop Since 1997

Frank Kabatas started at this shop as a delivery driver, learning every street in the East Village, and has owned it since 2003. It's the same corner, 145 1st Avenue at East 9th Street, and the same Baker's Pride oven he bought that year. Read his story.
